What is the object to be lifted? What are the dimensions and weight of the object?

Is there enough setup space and is it clear of overhead power lines, underground conduits, underground wells, traffic, etc? What is the type of ground we will be setting up on?

How far away is the object from the center of the boom of the crane boom? (see load charts)

Does the object have lifting lugs, eyebolts, or anything else on it that denotes a particular way that it must be rigged/hooked up for a lift? Does lifting the item entail any special rigging that you are aware of?

What is the time and location of the job? (Please also provide nearest crossroad or intersection.)
